"Allright. So what?", you might reply- and well you should.

The Cornell community enjoys an environment of incredible beauty known the world over. Fortunately, much of that beauty derives from its auspicious location in Ithaca . However, all that beauty is not natural. Maintaining a cohesive landscape requires reseeding of trampled lawns, pruning of exotic shrubs, replacement of dead trees before they become hazardous, planting and caring for the myriad varieties of flowers found about the campus, and an in-depth knowledge of horticulture to provide for the needs of each species of plant properly.
